Supporting Veterans. Strengthening SMVE Communities.
MARK III supports Defence veterans in building new careers and entrepreneurial futures, at the heart of our not-for-profit mission.
Our Commitment to Veterans
We honour Defence service by creating clear pathways for veterans and veteran-owned businesses to succeed.
No Joining Fees
We remove financial barriers by waiving our one-off joining fees for veteran-owned businesses, ensuring Defence veterans have a clear, supported pathway into Government and enterprise supply chains.
Pro Bono Mentoring
We mentor veteran SMVEs with hands-on support in governance, compliance, and tendering — helping them grow and deliver into Defence and Government supply chains.
Capability Building
We provide the skills, resources, and networks to grow. From project management support and consortium opportunities on major projects to delivery-readiness assessments, we go above and beyond in backing veteran-owned SMVEs.
Nationwide Network Access
Veteran-owned SMEs gain direct access to MARK III's national pipeline of Defence, Federal, and State programs, creating consistent opportunities, recognition, and integration into major delivery requirements.
Why It Matters
Our community impact extends far beyond individual businesses, creating lasting value for Australia's sovereign capability and economic resilience.
Honours Service
Our programs ensure the values of loyalty, discipline, and resilience learned in Defence are carried into industry. By supporting veterans, we honour their service and integrate their strengths into projects that matter for Australia.
Builds Sovereign Capability
Veterans bring unique operational knowledge and problem-solving skills. Their contributions strengthen sovereign capability — ensuring Australia has the skills, expertise, and resilience needed for secure, independent delivery of Defence and Government programs.
Drives Economic Value
Every veteran-supported SME that succeeds creates ripple effects: more jobs, stronger regional hubs, and sustainable national growth. With ~93% of contract value reinvested into SMEs, the benefits extend directly to Australia's economy and communities.
